DARKNESS FALLS TO THE UPRISING
When we were children, we acted like children and behave like children because we saw the world as a beautiful playground through innocent eyes.
But when we choose to become ignorant of the suffering of others, we are no longer children because we are no longer innocent of any wrongdoing.
When we view others as something other, we lose our future because we choose to forfeit any and all possibilities of what could be.
When we take the life of another, we lose our humanity because we treat death as a punishment, or a curse, or a sin instead of a natural blessing.
But if we focus more on our similarities, we can come together, grow, and become something more than what we already are because we finally ignored all the trivial rhetoric keenly associated with our differences.
